Voting

Round 1 Voting - Staff Vote: 
Studio staff will score all entries based on originality, theme relevance, visual appeal, and suitability for merchandise and select one finalist from each Voting Category (2 total).

Round 2 Voting - Social Media Vote (4/1 - 4/7): 
Finalist designs will be posted on Amped's Facebook & Instagram accounts.
Follow to Vote: To have your vote count, you must be following @AmpedSchoolOfMusic on Facebook & Instagram.
Keyword Comments: Votes are cast by commenting a specific "keyword" or "number" on the finalist post.

2026 Amped Design Contest: Official Rules

📝 ENTRY DETAILS
Eligibility: Open to all current Amped students, siblings, parents, significant others, and staff. 
Voting Categories:

• Youth: Ages 0–13
• Community: Ages 14–Adult (Includes students, parents, partners, and staff).

How to Submit:

• Physical: Give your design to Abby at the front desk.
• Digital: Submit via www.ampedschoolofmusic.com/contest.
• Deadline: All submissions must be received by Friday, March 27, 2026.

🗓️ CONTEST TIMELINE

• March 1 – March 28: Submission Period.
• March 29 – March 31: Round 1 (Staff Voting) – Teachers and staff will select one finalist from each category.
• April 1 – April 7: Round 2 (Public Voting) – Finalists are posted to social media for community voting.
• April 8: Vote counting and verification.
• April 9: Grand Prize Winner Announced! 🏆
• May 8: Official Merch Premiere at the Spring Recital.

🎨 DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
Theme: LOUDER TOGETHER ✊🏳️‍🌈

• Focus: Harmony as resistance, community solidarity, and the power of being heard.

Artwork Rules:

• 100% Human-Made: Use of AI-imagery or AI-generation tools is strictly prohibited. We value your unique, human perspective! Finalists may be asked to provide a "process" sketch or photo.
• Originality: Must be your own work. No copyrighted characters or offensive material.
• Technical: Digital files should be 300 dpi min (JPG, PNG, SVG, or AI). Physical drawings are also welcome!
• Reference: The winning design will be used as a reference and rendered by a designer to become compatible with merch production requirements.
• Usage Rights: Amped School of Music may use submissions for merchandise and promotion. Copyright remains with the artist. 

🗳️ VOTING
Round 1 Voting - Staff Vote:

• Studio staff will score all entries based on originality, theme relevance, visual appeal, and suitability for merchandise and select one finalist from each Voting Category (2 total).

Round 2 Voting - Social Media Vote:

• Follow to Vote: To have your vote count, you must be following @AmpedSchoolOfMusic on Instagram or Facebook.
• Keyword Comments: Votes are cast by commenting a specific "keyword" or "number" on the finalist post.
• Human Verification: Any votes from "bot" accounts (accounts with no posts/followers or created within 24 hours of the vote) will be disqualified during the April 8th verification period.
• Staff Tie-Breaker: In the event of a tie, the Staff Vote from Discord will serve as the final decision.
