ABOUT DEBBIE (she/her)
Debbie teaches voice and is studying General Music with a minor in Women and Gender Studies at Concordia College. She loves exploring many different styles of vocal music, from classical and jazz to musical theater and choral singing, and has held several leadership roles in her ensembles, notably serving as director of Vocal Jazz Gold, one of Concordia's vocal jazz ensembles, and is the alto section leader in Concordia's top choir, the Concordia Choir. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT MUSIC? "I love that music is a language that doesn't need to be technically understood to have impact. You can feel, communicate, and understand through music in ways that you can't with things like language barriers, even if you don't understand complex music theory." NOTABLE ENSEMBLES & PERFORMANCES
