ABOUT ELLIE (she/her)
Ellie Knudsvig recently earned her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education from North Dakota State University. During her time at NDSU, she performed with a wide range of ensembles, including the Concert Choir, Madrigal Singers, Bison Arts Singers, Gold Star Marching Band, and Jazz Lab Band.
Beyond campus, Ellie has been an active part of the regional music community, singing with the Fargo-Moorhead Opera, the FM Bach Choir, and other community musical groups. She's so excited to join Amped and continue growing as a young educator!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT MUSIC?
Music requires a presence in the moment, something that's becoming increasingly rare in our daily lives. I've so appreciated the four years I've been able to study music for my career, and I'm more and more excited to see where this path leads me. Music has been one of the most fulfilling and human parts of my life, and I've made so many great connections with lifelong friends, colleagues, and mentors through this art form.

I have a cat named Alfred who is my whole life! When I'm not hanging out with him, I like to draw, play video games, watch movies, and go thrifting. I also love going on walks (as long as there aren't too many bugs out!).
