ABOUT EMILY
Emily is the proud owner of Amped School of Music and has been making music in many forms for nearly three decades and has taught music since she was a teenager, thanks to the support of her own music teachers. Music, art, and food are Emily's top three passions, and with consistent determination and hard word, supported by wonderful communities, Emily has received accolades in these realms. Emily's startup vegan bakery, Lucid Bakery, was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine with the Fargo Startup House, she performed violin on a PBS Christmas Concert national broadcast with the Concordia College Orchestra, and Emily's first vector illustration was featured as #1 on Buzzfeed's 23 Geeky Greeting Cards For The Holidays. Emily served as co-concertmistress in the Fargo Moorhead Area Youth Symphony and concertmistress in the top auditioning orchestras at Moorhead High. She also participated in the in the Minnesota All-State Orchestra, and the Minnesota Middle Level Honors Orchestra. Emily received the music proficiency-based Christiansen Scholarship Award and graduated Concordia College with Magna Cum Laude honors. Emily believes music is an extraordinary way to have fun, build confidence, gain self-awareness, release expression, practice skill-building, and connect with others.
