Contest Rules

ENTRY

• Open to all current Amped School of Music students, parents, and staff.
• Voting Categories: 0-13, 14-Adult, Staff
• Submit by giving your design to Abby at Amped or submitting it via www.ampedschoolofmusic.com/shirtcontest.
• Submissions are due 3/15/25. Grand Prize Winner announced by 3/31/25.
• Prizes: Contest Winner Prize: Winning Design on two shirts, two Amped Trial Lesson Certificates, $20 Amped SnackPass, one giant Squishmallow, and a Social Media Grand Feature. Finalist Prizes (for the 2 remaining Finalist Winners): Winning Design on one shirt, $10 Amped SnackPass, and a Social Media Feature.

DESIGN

• Theme: MUSIC UNITES US
• Artwork: Original, created by contestant. Digital (JPG, PNG, SVG, AI, 300 dpi min.) or physical (scanned/photographed/given to Amped). Use of provided shirt template not required. No copyrighted or offensive material.
• Reference: The winning design will be used as a reference and rendered by a designer to become compatible with merch production requirements.
• Usage Rights: Amped School of Music may use use submissions for merchandise and promotion. Copyright remains with the artist. 

VOTING

• Round 1 Voting - Staff Selection: Studio staff will score all entries based on originality, theme relevance, visual appeal, and suitability for merchandise and select one finalist from each Voting Category (3 total).
• Round 2 Voting - Social Media Vote: Finalist designs will be posted on Amped's Facebook and Instagram accounts. The design with the most combined likes/reactions/comments/shares (shares count as 2 votes) wins. Voting period: 3/20-3/27.
