
ABOUT STEVE
Steve Burket holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies degree from the Minnesota State University of Moorhead. He is a multi-instrumentalist including guitar, bass, mandolin, vocals, keys, and drums. With over 18 years of experience in performing with various rock, bluegrass/ folk, and jazz bands Steve brings a unique and fun approach to helping others find their own musical voice.
Having taught many age groups since 2008, ranging from 5-95 years old, and many different levels of skill Steve can tailor lessons to each student to provide an abundance of knowledge in a way that makes sense to that individual. Steve is flexible in teaching you what you want to learn while at the same time providing you with little golden nuggets of information to further your skills through music theory, sight-reading, technique exercises, music history, and how to avoid common pitfalls.
With enough determination, patience, and practice you too can discover the joys of music and be able to express your individuality in a way you never thought possible. Steve finds it an honor to pass along the information torch about music to anyone and everyone who wants to make a sound!
